The PATRIA Hotel will be available for participants of the IOPB 2008 Symposium. The hotel is located in Strbske Pleso, in Symposium venue itself.
The PATRIA Hotel has a capacity of 300 beds, arranged in twin-bed rooms and 14 suites. The newly-renovated rooms offer all the comforts of accommodation in a four-star hotel.

HOTEL FIS ***
Accommodation is available in single and double rooms and suites. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV with remote control, radio, alarm clock, telephone - local and international calls are possible.
Bathrooms are equipped with modern showers or baths and hairdryers. The rooms are simply but cosily furnished.
The hotel FIS is located within walking distance from the hotel Patria, the Symposium venue.

How to reserve hotel accommodation
Participants are advised to make a room reservation through the Symposium Secretariat at reduced rates. To make a hotel reservation, it is necessary to fill in the on-line ACCOMMODATION FORM.
The reservation will be made on a first come – first served basis. Any reservations made after 21 March 2008 are subject to availability.

All the rates quoted are per room and per night including breakfast and VAT. Extras have to be paid directly at the hotel reception before departure.
Should the VAT change by the beginning of the Symposium, Symposium secretariat will automatically change the price of your hotel reservation and will inform you in writing about a new rate.
100% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation. After a deposit is received, the Letter of Confirmation will be sent to you.
Cancellation and Refunds
The Symposium Secretariat must be notified in writing of any change or cancellation of a hotel reservation. Please do not contact the hotel directly in case of any reservation changes or
cancellation. The appropriate refunds will be made after the Symposium.
The following cancellation conditions apply to the cancellation of a hotel reservation:

The Symposium Secretariat reserves the right to charge a handling fee of 30 EUR at any name change of a hotel reservation.
